Geography and Climate: The city is 500 km from the capital of India and 123 sq above from sea climate is to be changed according to the weather.Lucknow has almost typical climate the temperature varies from 5 degree salacious to 45 degree salacious. City is surrounded on western side by Unnao District,eastern side by Barabanki District on the southern side by Raebareli District and on the northern side by the Sitapur Hardoi District. The Gomti River flows through the city, dividing it in trans-gomti and cis-gomti regions. The Sai River flows from the south of the city. Lucknow is connected from every part of India through air, rail and road.c. Rainfall is 100 cm. per annum. There is no forest area in the city Shisham, Dhak, Mahua, Babul, Neem, Peepal, Ashok, Khajur, Mango and Gular trees are grown here. . The main crops are wheat, paddy, sugarcane, mustard, potatos, and vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, tomato, brinjals are grown here.
